Funding & Fees

Holy Trinity Fees & Funding

Fees

A £100 deposit  is payable on initial registration at Tiddlywinks Pre-School, which is refundable when the required notice period is given. There will be a 30% deposit taken if a visiting morning is used however the child doesn't start.

Fees are payable in advance by the end of each previous half term.

All sessions that a child is registered for must be paid for and this includes holidays taken during term time and absence due to sickness.

Six weeks term time notice must be given if a child is no longer going to attend Tiddlywinks (or if sessions are reduced) and fees for this period are payable in full regardless to whether the child actually attends or not.

A charge of £1 per day will be made for any overdue fees. This is to a maximum of forty days at which point legal action will be taken to recover amounts owed.

Tiddlywinks Pre-School reserves the right to withdraw any child from Tiddlywinks due to no payment of fees.

Children are entitled to government funding in the first term after they turn three. This covers the majority of the fees but each term additional services will be charged to cover costs. This amount varies each term.

The manager of tiddlywinks will apply for funding and administrate the funding process. However this requires forms to be filled out by parents and a copy of child's birth certificate or passport. If these two items are not forthcoming from parents they are not eligible for funding and become liable to pay full fees without nursery education grant funding.

Cheques should be made payable to Tiddlywinks Preschool. The Pre-School will give a minimum of six weeks notice regarding any fee increases.

3 & 4 year old funded children's fees will be £5.50  per hour when exceeding the funding, these not yet eligible for the 2 year old funding will be £6.50 per hour. A home school agreement is completed to confirm required sessions a signed by both parties. Copies are made for home and setting.

Children's sessions are automatically carried over to the following term unless we are advised otherwise. Any changes to sessions require six weeks' notice and a new home school agreement.

Under the Code of Practice for Nursery Education you are not expected to accept any hours over and above the funded hours. This can be discussed when completing the home school agreement.
