Snack- Tiddlywinks provide snack to those children that attend the afternoon session and those that stay after 3pm. This food and drink is paid for by Tiddlywinks and is therefore FREE TO PARENTS.

Lunch- Tiddlywinks are very lucky to be able to offer the same school dinner options as the main Primary School (during a day when the school is open) for an additional fee.  To view the menu please click here.

If parents would rather provide a packed lunch from home they are more than welcome to do so. Tiddlywinks has a healthy eating policy and so when considering what to put in your child's lunch box, please check out our policy provided when you complete the induction pack.

Nappies & Wipes - Parents provide Tiddlywinks with all the things their child needs, this ensures that parents can still select their preferred brands.

Sports Group - We are really luck to be able to offer a multi-sports session to children (for an additional fee) on a weekly basis. This session is provided by an external sports coach that teaches the children lots of skills to multiple sports. Classdojo- We want to stay in contact with our parents as communication is really important to us. Therefore the parents have access to a FREE app to send and receive messages as well as photos.

Funding

Early Years Funding at Tiddlywinks Pre-School includes all 3 and 4 year olds, who are entitled to 15 hours of nursery education. There is now a further 15 hours funding for Together for Two (requiring a code) and an additional 15 hours finding (30 hours) for Working Parents from 2 years old.

After consultation with parents and early years advisers we have developed a flexible model for accessing funding.

3 & 4 year old funded children's fees will be £7  per hour when exceeding the funding, these not yet eligible for the 2 year old funding will be £7.50 per hour. A home school agreement is completed to confirm required sessions a signed by both parties. Copies are made for home and setting.

Children's sessions are automatically carried over to the following term unless we are advised otherwise. Any changes to sessions require six weeks' notice and a new home school agreement.

Under the Code of Practice for Early Years Education Funding you are not expected to accept any hours over and above the funded hours. This can be discussed when completing the home school agreement.
